Notes for the trip
- Trip is set for December 18-20, 2009.
- Booking Date: November 25, 2009 or since plans have changed, within the next few days. I have my six that I am depending on the down.
Exact numbers for everyone else has yet to be determined.
- Need confirmation and money from people who can go by December 5, 2009. We are projecting around 10-20 people. I think the place I have
in mind can handle us all but its up to you guys if you want to look at perhaps one additional room.
- Side note for those who are employed, please remember to request off early.
- MONEY MUST BE PRESENTED PRIOR TO GOING. If you are going to write a check, make it out to Jonathan Yamane.
- Amount has yet to be determined but expect the total cost to be around $200 (2 nights). Price will be divided on a daily basis for those
coming Saturday. This will include your room, dinner for both nights, food during the day, and beer. Gambling is obviously not included
and any extra alcohol i.e. hard alcohol, is b.y.o.b status.
- If you can't deliver a confirmation or money by the deadline, you are not guaranteed a spot
- No adding extra people at the last minute.
- If you are planning on bringing other people, you must notify either Joe, Jon or, Grant so that proper accommodations may be made. Earlier
the better. However, we have hit a good number. As always the more the merrier, but no need to push anymore.
- No dropping out at the last moment. No refunds if you do drop out past December 5, 2009. Of course if there is a family emergency you are
exempt.
General things to keep in mind
According to the contract, we are only allowed to hold up to 10 people in the house - max. Since we're exceeding the
occupancy we must control ourselves so that we're not kicked out. I don't mean to be parental but this is important. It is in a community and if
neighbors complain, they complain to the landowners. Bad for us. I know this stuff is obvious but bear with me...
- Noise - everybody is responsible for themselves and everybody else
- Weed - smoke in a controlled area i.e. the car; we don't want someone smelling and reporting it.
- No arguments/complaints about who gets the bed; we'll figure out how beds will be distributed through some random drawing. We may just do
things by family in order to fully utilize the bed space.
- Food and beer requests must be in by December 12, 2009; otherwise, Grant will purchase to his own discretion. DO NOT PURCHASE INDEPENDENTLY
- this will throw off price distribution.
- Mess - This is a private home. We need to make sure by Sunday morning things look back to normal.
